Wisconsin Weather Alert

Wisconsin Weather Warning: Scattered showers and dense fog are expected through Friday

Puddles may remain until Tuesday morning as a rainy stretch settles in over Wisconsin, with rain expected through the end of the workweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, Monday’s persistent rains will subside by evening, revealing brighter skies and the formation of patchy fog. Temperatures are predicted to dip into the 20s and 30s overnight, causing visibility issues for early commuters Tuesday morning. Scattered showers are expected to return by mid-morning Tuesday, with temperatures reaching the upper 40s and low 60s. Rain will become increasingly prevalent by Wednesday and persist intermittently until Friday. While no day is forecast to be a complete washout, wet conditions may interrupt outdoor activities and hinder traffic on essential routes, including I-41, Highway 29, and country roads between Appleton, Wausau, and Sheboygan.

Drivers should use care in the morning, particularly in fog-prone locations, and allow additional travel time. Residents are encouraged to monitor local weather alerts and carry rain gear throughout the week. The outlook is intermittent rain through Friday, with drier weather expected over the weekend. Updates will be provided when fresh alerts are published.
