Temperatures are predicted to dip into the 20s and 30s overnight, causing visibility issues for early commuters Tuesday morning. Scattered showers are expected to return by mid-morning Tuesday, with temperatures reaching the upper 40s and low 60s. Rain will become increasingly prevalent by Wednesday and persist intermittently until Friday. While no day is forecast to be a complete washout, wet conditions may interrupt outdoor activities and hinder traffic on essential routes, including I-41, Highway 29, and country roads between Appleton, Wausau, and Sheboygan.
Drivers should use care in the morning, particularly in fog-prone locations, and allow additional travel time.
