Wyoming weather Tuesday: Sunny skies, breezy conditions, and 70° temperatures are expected

Much of Wyoming will see a calm and sunny Tuesday, with fewer winds and warmer temperatures providing a welcome respite from Monday’s windy weather.

According to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne, high temperatures will range from the mid-60s to the low 70s across the state, about 5 to 10 degrees higher than typical for late April. Most of the day will be sunny, with isolated afternoon showers likely, particularly east of the Laramie Range. Cheyenne, Rawlins, and Saratoga may see highs of 70°F, while Douglas and Lusk will reach about 60°F.

Winds will be substantially less than Monday, allowing for more pleasant outdoor activities. Windy conditions will remain, particularly in open locations such as Shirley Basin and Interstate 25. Travelers should watch for quick-moving showers in the late afternoon, especially around Torrington and Wheatland, where short rains may dampen roadways. This moderate spring trend is forecast to remain for the next few days, although more updates may be given if stronger systems develop later in the week. Watch local weather forecasts and enjoy the sunlight while it lasts.
