Twin Cities Weather: Dry Saturday, PM Rain Expected Sunday

Minnesota will have bright skies and dry conditions with pleasant temperatures ideal for outdoor pursuits through Saturday and early Sunday. The National Weather Service Twin Cities predicts that Saturday will be mostly sunny with lows between 40°F and 50°F and highs between 50°F and 60°F.

But late Sunday, the weather will change. A robust system will come in from the south late in the day, bringing rain to parts of eastern Minnesota. With Sunday highs of 55°F to 65°F and lows of 35°F to 40°F, rain is predicted to continue through Sunday night and into Monday morning.

Western regions of the state will have higher temperatures on Monday, with the possibility of early-morning showers. Temperatures will stay above normal despite the rain, with highs of 55°F to 65°F expected in several places. For travel from Sunday evening through Monday morning, residents should plan appropriately and be ready for the rain.
